Are you expensive?
No. Wedding Consultants and Planners are more often than not considered and extravagance or luxury that is generally very expensive – This is quite simply a misconception.
We at Dragonfly Wedding Consultancy do not accept any commissions, instead we pass them on as generous discounts directly to you, our client. We also negotiate on any other costs where ever we can saving you as much money as possible along the way.
Working this way, we often save our couples most if not all of our fees.
I have chosen a venue already, is that ok?
Yes we are happy to work with your already chosen venue and join in your preparations from this stage.
What type of ceremonies do you arrange?
Many types from religious or civil to humanist, however we are fully aware how the parameters for ceremonies, beliefs and religions are vast these days. Every now and again we are approached for something new to us, we love learning new traditions and the challenge of catering to customs that we haven’t yet experienced.
What is your incentive to stick to our budget?
Our reputation. We rely hugely on recommendations from previous clients, if we were to go over budget on every (or even some) wedding we arranged, it would soon be widely known. Budget is often one of the most important factors to our clients so we simply wouldn’t be very successful nor would we have a reputation to be proud of.
I have chosen a venue but it only allows us to use certain suppliers, why?
Dont worry, you nearly always still have a choice and these suppliers will be accredited and be very familiar with the venue. Sometimes it may be because the venue is particularly exclusive and simply want to approve anyone who come in. Sometimes it may be because of certain quirks like difficult access or limited room for certain things. Having worked with certain suppliers before, they know that they will be familiar with and able to overcome these issues. Although frustrating and seemingly restrictive sometimes, It actually helps ensure that you have a smoothly run wedding.
Are You Insured?
Yes we are full insured, we hold Public Liabiliy and also Professional Indemnity Insurance.
